A few things I love: Jesus, spending time with my husband, family, and friends, traveling to warm places, pursing health physically, emotionally, spiritually, & mentally, being outside whenever I get the chance, matcha in all its glory, Michigan sunsets, taking walks in pretty neighborhoods, writing music with my siblings, singing, petting any & every kind of dog, cooking yummy food, etc.! Although I love being an introvert and working from home, this job allows me to also travel and meet new people (which I absolutely love!). I love hearing your stories and capturing your most precious moments!
How it all Started & my "why"
Many of my clients ask me why I became a photographer. Although it wasn't always the "dream" I had in my mind, I found my passions for art, people, business, marketing, travel, etc., come alive in the form of taking photographs and working with amazing clients! I studied mannyyyy different things while I was in college because I couldn't find the right route that would connect all of my different passions together. After spending a few years trying to figure it out, I believe the Lord placed it on my heart one random fall day in 2022. It just dawned on me that I should become a photographer. Since then, I've never looked back! My dream is to keep telling stories through the art of taking photographs and sharing the light and the love of Jesus with everyone I encounter, even if it's just by taking their photo!

Professional & Silly
I have always been a big fan of "documentary photography" even before it became popular. If I were to describe my style, I wouldn't stray away from the words, "authentic," "documentary," "emotive," etc. That is me to a T! Although I love setting up poses and using prompts during my sessions, it's always my goal to "predict human emotion" and capture the "behind the scenes" moments that makes your wedding day or your photo session authentic to who you are! My philosophy is to add to the realness of the moment which is exactly how I plan to serve you.

Easy Going & On-Task
Let's be honest... It's extremely vulnerable to have your picture taken. But really, it's just as vulnerable to take the picture. I consider myself to be a professional individual, but I will always embrace the silliness that's on a wedding day or at a normal session! In order to add to the realness, I'm not going to present a "fake" version of myself. If you're looking to let loose, have a fun time, and laugh a lot during your session, I can help with that (and it makes for the best photos, too)!

Authentic & Organic
One word I would use to describe myself personally and professionally is "easy-going." Whether I'm working a family session, a wedding, or anything in between, I understand different events (even photo sessions in general!) can make anyone feel overwhelmed. Sometimes getting ready the morning of your wedding is chaotic, or maybe it's rounding up your little ones for family photos. My goal is to take away from the stress rather than adding to it. If you're looking for a photographer who likes to stay on task while having an easy-going personality, I believe you're 100% describing me.
